Our learning resource is designed with the intention to teach first year university psychology students on the four existing brain lobes with regards to their function, structure, and how each lobe relates to another. The learning resource will provide short paragraph readings, diagram visuals, videos, and external resources for the students to study off of. The studied material will then be applied to several formative activities such as answering True/False questions, and fill in the blanks throughout the module. Formative assessment answers with suggested further readings can be found on the Supplemental Materials page. After scoring 80% and higher on the summative assessment, the student is awarded with an online certificate. Ultimately, we’re hoping that this resource will have taught the students to be able to identify the differences between each lobe, the main responsibilities/functionalities of each lobe, clear any misconceptions prior to the course, and apply the knowledge to everyday scenarios.
