This is the final summative assessment for the Brain Lobes 101 course. This assessment will rely on the materials learned from Modules 1 through 4, and will test learners’ knowledge, as it relates to the learning outcomes of each module, on a higher level than the formative assessments.
Learning outcomes that each learner should feel confident in having achieved before attempting the summative assessment:
- To identify the functions of each lobe
- To identify the structure of each lobe
- To identify a common misconception of each lobe
- To identify each lobe’s location in the brain
The summative assessment will be carried out through an external technology. The assessment will be presented as a series of questions and one case study which will each require the learner to demonstrate their ability to identify the functions, structure, and location each of the four lobes as it relates to different real world contexts.
The learner must score an 80% or higher to receive a certificate that shows successful completion of the learning resource.
